Michael Jay Green, former Arizona attorney and Judge Pro Tem, has been involved in the Cannabis Industry as a topical bookseller since 2010, when at the Invitation of the Medical Marijuana advocacy group, Patients Out of Time, he exhibited at their Rhode Island Clinical Conference on Cannabis Therapeutics. Subsequently, he has participated at numerous conferences nationwide & in Canada including MJ for Md’s various NCIA events, American Cannabis Nurses Association. Cannabis Nurses Network, World Medical Cannabis Expo & Conference, The Emerald Cup. Michael currently serves on the boards of Patients Out of Time and the Academy of Cannabis Education. He trades as Cannabis Libris: books for the Cannabis Conscious and maintains a website CannabisLibris.com.
Michael is a Viet Nam Veteran, with an Agent Orange service connected disability, and teaches yoga in Charlottesville, Virginia.
Interests include travel, landscaping, gardening, white water rafting and yoga.
Michael graduated Summa Cum Laude with a BA in Eastern Studies from the University of Arizona in 1976 and received a JD from the UofA School of Law in 1983.
In addition Michael has served on the board of St, Joseph’s Hospital and on the board of the local Boy Scout Council, was CEO of the Jewish Community Foundation of Southern Arizona, and has been a literacy volunteer tutoring the U.S. Citizenship Examination. As a candidate for the U.S. Congress from Arizona’s 5th Congressional District in 2000, running as a Green his platform focused on ending the war on drugs, democratic renewal and restoration of the environment.
